The 12th annual Buckeye Classic Yearling Sale is now complete. The sale, held Tuesday, October 13 at the Champions Center Expo in Springfield, Ohio, featured a catalog of 300 yearlings. A total of 296 babies were sold, grossing $3.4 million and averaging $11,645, an increase of 9.5 percent over 2025. Slay colt Slay Bells (Hip 281) topped the session with a $100,000 final bid. Consigned by Clearview Farm for Emery Miller, Adam Hawthorne signed the ticket.
